What the tools receive

The site does not require an account, login, API key, or credentials for Ahrefs, Google, hosting, FTP, analytics, or any other account. Depending on the tool, visitors can submit domains, URLs, or keywords for processing.

Submitted domains, URLs, and keywords are not written to a database. There is no database in this stack.

Rate-limit information

For tools that use the backend, an IP address is used to enforce hourly rate limits. The persistent-ish Cloudflare value is a request count keyed for the relevant IP, tool, and hourly window. It does not contain the domain, URL, or keyword that was checked.

Those rate-limit counters automatically expire after roughly one hour. They are not sold, shared, or used for another purpose by CheckDR.

Analytics

The site is configured to use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Ahrefs Analytics after applicable consent. These services are separate from the tool backend and may process visitor and usage information such as page views, approximate location, device/browser information, and related analytics identifiers under their own practices.

For Google's practices, see Google's Privacy Policy. For Ahrefs' practices, see Ahrefs' Privacy Policy. CheckDR does not control the data practices or retention periods of those providers.

Cookies and retention

Google Tag Manager loads analytics tags after consent. Google Analytics can use cookies and similar identifiers. Ahrefs Analytics may use its own analytics technologies according to Ahrefs' documentation and policy. Because these services operate independently, their retention periods are governed by their own policies rather than by CheckDR's rate-limit storage.

CheckDR's rate-limit counters expire after roughly one hour. CheckDR does not retain submitted domains, URLs, or keywords in a database.

Third-party sharing

CheckDR does not sell or share the temporary rate-limit data with third parties. The disclosed exception is that Google Analytics and Ahrefs Analytics process their own visitor/usage data when their scripts run on the site, subject to their respective privacy practices.

Domain Rating data

Domain Rating data comes from Ahrefs' public Domain Rating API. CheckDR retrieves and displays that metric; it does not calculate Domain Rating itself.

Changes to this policy

This page may be updated when the site's data practices or analytics configuration changes. The current version published at this URL is the version visitors should rely on for the site's stated practices.
